As I type this no one really knows the eventual outcome of the UK’s exit from the European Union. However, already the news has reported a number of business who are suspending staff recruitment, others looking to move some of their business to the EU and many who are predicting more difficult trading conditions.
At this same time Scotland looks like they are setting off on their own course. This may well start with them divorcing the rest of the UK and jumping back into bed with the EU as an independent nation.
If this is the case, I wonder how many of those business looking to move to the EU may well move north to find a new home. Would re-locating to Scotland be easier than moving elsewhere in Europe? There would certainly be less of a language barrier.
